Green Mango Chutney (Thick)

Green Mango Chutney


Ingredients:

  • 1 Green mango
  • 6 tbsp Sugar
  • Pinch of turmeric & salt
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1/4 tbsp Roasted panch phoran spice mix powder **

Making Procedure:


Peel the mango and cut into wadges. Heat oil in a pan and temper it with a little quantity of whole panch phoran. Add mango pulp and sauté for a minute on low medium heat. Then pour a cup of water along with salt and turmeric. Bring it to boil and add sugar. Cook on low medium heat till the sugar syrup thickens.

Pour it into a ceramic or glass bowl and allow it to cool down. Now sprinkle the panch phoran spice mix powder.

You can store it in refrigerator for 4-5 days.
