Yellow Dal
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup moong dal
- 3 tbsp. desi ghee (I used Nestle or Gits ghee)
- 1/4 tbsp. cumin seed
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 tbsp. turmeric powder
- 1 medium sized onion (chopped)
- Salt
Making Procedure:
Add the moong dal, turmeric, salt and sugar. Stir it very carefully and make sure that the dal doesn't ruffle. Cook it for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
Spread little amount of ghee on it. Serve with rice or ghee roti.
