Paneer Tawa Masala

Ingredients:



  • 200 grams paneer/cottage cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 20 ml  fresh cream
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium capsicum
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. tomato chili sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1 1/2 chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp. coriander powder
  • 2 pinch white pepper powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp. mint leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 4-5 tbsp. oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 150 ml water


Making Procedure:



Peel the onion. Wash tomato and capsicum. Then cut all the vegetables into julienne cut.


Heat oil in a pan. Add the paneer cubes and fry them lightly. Then the fried paneer cubes remove from the pan and keep aside.


Add onion and capsicum into the same oil. Fry it about 2 minutes on low medium heat. Then add the tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes are become soft.


Add tomato chili sauce, white pepper powder, chat masala, garam masala and salt. Fry for a minute and add water. Stir and Let it cook  for 5 minutes on low medium heat.


Now add the fresh cream and coriander powder. Stir and cook it for 2 minutes . Add paneer cubes, coriander & mint leaves and cook till the gravy is thicken.


Remove from heat and garnish with butter and few coriander leaves.


Serve hot Plain roti or tandoori roti.
