Spicy Chicken Fry

Ingredients:


  • 200 grams boneless chicken (cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup coconut (grated)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp. poppy seed paste
  • 1 tsp. black mustard seeds paste
  • 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 tsp. sesame seed paste
  • 2 pinch of mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp. coriander powder
  • 2 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
  • 1-2 tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 tsp. coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 30 ml oil
  • 50 ml water
  • Salt to taste

Making Procedure:


Heat oil in a wok. Add ginger-garlic paste into it and fry for a minute on low flame. Then add chicken cubes and fry until the chicken edges turn light brown.

Now add mustard  seeds, grated coconut, poppy seed paste, sesame seed paste, mustard seed paste; stir and mix it well. Fry it for 2 minutes on medium heat.

Add ginger, chopped garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and garam masala powder. Stir and fry it for a minute on medium heat.

Now add coriander leaves, lime juice and water. Cook it covered till the chicken is tender and masala coats all over the chicken cubes and looks dry.

Remove from heat and serve warm.
