Fruit Chutney


Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup apple (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/3 cup grape
  • 1/4 cup orange (slitted)
  • 1 tbsp. pomegranates
  • 1/2 tbsp. dates (chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp. amsatta (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. raisins & cashew nuts
  • 1/8 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • A pinch of salt

Making Procedure:


Pour water in a pan and bring it to boil. Then add sugar and continue boiling for 10-15 minutes on low to medium heat to make a light sugar syrup. 

Add all fruits and cook it for 5 minutes on low heat. After that add cumin powder, salt, dates, amsatta, lemon juice, raisins and cashew nuts. Stir well and cook for 1-2 minutes. 

Remove from heat and pour in a glass bowl. Let it cool and then serve.
